There are so many different ways to lose weight, but what is the right way? The answer is.. It depends. As a personal trainer for 3 years, I’ve found that the easiest way to achieve your health and fitness goals is to NOT count calories, but to count MACROs. Macros are fats, proteins, and carbs. Depending on your body type (mesomorph, ectomorph, endomorph) and activity level, you’re certainly going to require more of one macro than another.
The great thing about counting macros is if you want to eat ice cream, you can. You’ll just have to count the macros and fit it in with the rest of your macro schedule. Is it the healthiest option? No. But you can make it work and achieve your goals like so many of my clients have.
